Artist Description

I had gone to Banff because I had wanted to get a nice picture of Moraine Lake. Leaving from Canmore, my girlfriend and I woke up at 3:30am to get to Moraine Lake before the parking lot filled up and managed to get a spot. We waited for a few hours but it was rainy and cloudy over the mountains and the forecast said it wasn't going to clear up anytime soon. We decided to go back to Canmore where the weather was supposed to ha a little better and I thought we should go out near the river to get a good view of the three sisters. I've been to this spot before but the weather that day was amazing, revealing the mountains completely surrounded by clouds. I didn't end up getting the shot I wanted at Moraine lake, but i got something new and different from Canmore! This is why I love photography, there's always something that will surprise you if you go out and find it!
